When you really think about it Can Am cars are almost or close to 40 years old and reflect a different time and age in the spectrum of automotive competition.

We went to Mosport on spur of the moment decision over breakfast saturday morning to see a few Can Am cars.

What is special about Can Am cars? In their time the latter versions with the big block Chevrolet motors, and the Porsches were literally the fastest cars one could see on a race track...yes the fastest. Folks that saw Can Am cars compete during their prime remember the sound, accompanied by a visceral sensation of speed. Even today these cars have to be driven fast and hard to recreate the feeling.Merely going for a leisurely drive does not do a Can Am car justice. Furtunately there were a few drivers with a few cars that did give a compelling and meaningful Can Am show and quickly recreated the visceral sensation of power and speed.

You could not make it to Mosport, take a few minutes and enjoy our photo gallery...Click Here.

Vro8m Ro8m

Good Morning!

Does it look like the first day of Summer where you are?

Do you have an interest in planes?
