Empowered Customer - Part 2

Don't just Hunt and Gather...Engage!

Most people are so attuned to hunt, and gather information that they are reluctant to engage, to communicate. In 2007 information without meaningful communication will no longer empower a prospective customer who is seeking higher value for his money.

Too little or the wrong information is worse that no information at all. There is a lot of questionable information floating around on a variety of products, and subjects. When you are hunting and gathering pay particular attention to the source of the information to validate the veracity.

As it relates to the automotive business there are people that are pushing the envelope in what they are reporting, pay attention to these people since they cover issues which were usually left under the table. A recent example is this article on computer codes.

We are all customers, and we all at one time or another use the Internet to hunt, and gather information for an upcoming purchase. We leave a trail or footprint of our online activities, which creates patterns. Did you know that there are numerous companies that perform searches for other companies using web crawlers to uncover a variety of information which is of particular interest to their paying customers.

Its a well documented fact that the majority of customers spend more time hunting, and gathering on the Internet, than the actual time with dealers. May we suggest that you go the extra step, and engage dealers in a meaningful conversation, to uncover additional value from your purchase.

At Strada you can engage us at any time.
